When you first come to our office, you'll notice that this is not a typical care facility. It's relaxed and comfortable. After filling out a brief yet comprehensive intake, Dr Jones will sit with you to discuss your concerns and goals for care. An examination follows and that may include specific tests to be performed with the goal of determining where you are and help guide us to how to proceed with getting to your goals. The first visit usually lasts between 45-60 minutes.
Mindfulness is the practice of being present in the moment and fully engaged in the present experience without judgment. It can help reduce stress and improve overall well-being. This will be part of your homework as we address breaking unconscious neurological patterns.
Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils to promote physical and emotional well-being. It can be used to help alleviate stress, improve mood, and promote relaxation. It has been shown that inhaling an essential oil will directly affect the amygdala (emotional center) of the brain.
